Founding members of the Cape Fear Italian Festival met with Roger James, Managing Partner of Cross Creek Commons Shopping Center in Leland to sign the agreement that will keep the festival in its previous location. However this year’s festival will be twice as large as the first year’s event taking over the entire parking lot at Cross Creek Commons.
Details are still in the works for the festival entertainment, but food and craft vendors are already lining up for the two day festival. The 2nd Annual Cape Fear Italian Festival will be held September 25, 10 am – 10 pm and September 26, noon – 7pm. The admission will be $2 per person or $5 per family per day, children under 5 admitted free.
