Ambassadors Are “Eyes and Ears” of North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce

What is a North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce Ambassador? He or she is an official representative of the chamber of commerce, a front-line volunteer. The North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce currently has 13 ambassadors at this time.

The responsibilities of the ambassador are member relations and encouraging member involvement. Ambassadors serve as a liaison between the chamber and the member, soliciting feedback and continuing dialog between the two. Ambassadors attend chamber events and build relationships with chamber members.

One of the new goals this year is to assign each Ambassador 20 members, which they will contact each quarter during the year. During each visit, they will ask those members how they feel about the services offered by the chamber. The chamber then uses the information to improve member services. Ambassadors also gather information concerning new business in the area and pass along the information to the membership department.

North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce ambassadors meet at the chamber office on the second Wednesday of each month at 12 noon. If you would like to become involved with the Ambassador program, contact the chamber office at 1-800-383-0553 or visit the web site at http://www.nbchamberofcommerce.com.
