Contrary to previous reports regarding the oversized flag at the Buy & Go in Leland staying in place, management has removed it and replaced it with a smaller version. Last week we were informed that the management was working on a text amendment to be submitted to the town that would allow them to fly the 88 square foot flag in conjunction with the 60 foot flag pole, both of which do not comply with the Town of Leland ordinance now. No word on when that text amendment will be filled. But for now, the large flag has been replaced.
